On Saturday, May 6, 2017, 9:00 AM, Valoare Plus Association organizes the conference „Keep Your Freedom! Human Trafficking\u00a0Enslaves”. This will take place at the Athenaeum „Mihail Jora” Bacau. The conference addresses support groups within the Stay Free project, about 300 high school students from the Moldovan region. The purpose of the conference is to raise awareness and motivate the young generation to fight against human trafficking.<\/p>\n
In recent years, Romania has become the main country of origin of victims of trafficking in Europe. Due to cumulation of factors such as poverty, lack of education, freedom to travel to the EU, more and more young people become victims of trafficking and are exploited.<\/p>\n
In order to combat this phenomenon, Value Plus Association has begun since 2016 to implement a trafficking information and prevention project called Stay Free. It aims at informing over 16,000 high school students from over 160 high schools from the 8 counties of Moldova and setting up a support group in each high school to combat trafficking in human beings. Access to the conference is free and for all participants invited by the Value Plus Association, we will reimburse 50% of the value of the transport for attendance at the conference.<\/p>\n<\/div>
