As initiating organization Value Plus Association has the pleasure to announce the official opening of the Project „For A Better Future” on May 29’th 2013, 17:00 in the festivity hall at „Lady Mary” School from Bacău.
The main purpose of the project is to support a number of maximum 20 pupils with ages between 10 and 14 year from Lady Mary School in Bacău which come from single-parent families or from families where both parents are missing.
The activities will occur twice a week, on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon for approximately 3 and a half hours during which the children will benefit from:
- Additional classes at basic subjects with teachers from the school
- Personal development programs and non-formal education
- Cooperative spirit education through sports programs
- Motivation development on finding a personal life model based on high moral values
- Individual counseling and support on the challenges that they face with help from qualified staff
- Personal assessment of the performance and progress that they record
The project is funded by the Value Plus Association and implemented in partnership with Lady Mary School in Bacău for the period May 2013 to May 2014 with the possibility of extended continuity.
