We thank all those who supported our campaign “We Care About the Homeless”.

For 12 days we were present on the ground with a warm meal in various places in Bacau where we’ve found homeless people. A great and outstanding experience.

We also greatly thank the volunteers who have joined us without whom we would not have been able to complete this campaign.

Below you can read a little journal:

Day 1 – December 22, 2017. Tonight we began to share a warm menu with homeless people. We will continue this campaign for 12 days each evening. Every man has his story, sad. Thanks to the volunteers involved.

Day 2 – December 23, 2017. The Bacau Railway, inside a few people, but at the entrance full of people who hope that the police will finally let them go inside to take shelter of the cold. Among them children, many children, …
I met uncle Ion in the field, with a backpack full of scrap iron but too weak and inflamed to go to shelter. It was a real wonder that I saw him lying on the road in the grass and I did not hit him with the car. In future posts, we may share your stories. We thank volunteers and local police who have supported us!

Day 3 – December 24, 2017. Christmas evening.
– “We come tomorrow with food, what else will we bring you?”
– “Some dressing, they beat me and my fingers crushed, and maybe a pill of pain …”

Day 4 – 25 December 2017. Thank you Brasoveanu Family who prepared the salsales!

Day 5 – December 26, 2017. We had two volunteers from Holland, a Romanian and a Dutch who were on the way through Romania and offered to help us one evening before leaving. Encouraging!

Day 6 – December 27, 2017. Today we were able to share clothes and shoes. Thanks to Mrs. Dana T. for your support with the menus.

Day 7 – December 28, 2017. Every night we discover new people and new places where we spend the night.

Day 8 – December 29, 2017. Tonight, besides the hot menu, we divided drugs
(dressing, fossil, hydrogenated water, rivanol)
and drinking water. I’ve discovered another person, “Nenea Gelu”. He stays in a cfr cant, left in the basement, in a former toilet.

Day 9 – 30 December 2017. Menus, Mattresses, Water ..

Day 10 – December 31, 2017. New Year!

Day 11 – January 1, 2018. Today we received a gift from homeless people a small Santa, candle holder !!!!

Day 12 – January 2, 2018. Last of the project. It’s hard to express what I feel. In the last 12 days I have met life stories and unique people. Names such as “Shark,” “Wolf,” “Peppers,” will always be a face, a face that I can not forget. We will report to the City Hall and after a time when we will seriously weigh the opportunities and opportunities we will decide the next step. We thank the volunteers and the people who supported this project! Thank you.
