Wednesday, December 7, 2016, Value Plus Association was present at Volunteering Awards in Bacau, Romania.

Gladness, excitement, desire to win and the eagerness to be rewarded. This was the atmosphere on Wednesday night at the Volunteering Awards – Edition X organized by Community Support Foundation (FSC) and Kaufland Romania. Nearly a thousand young people attended the Summer Theater, and with them, officials, representatives of the organizations in which they operate, teachers and parents.

The main event aimed to encourage volunteerism by awarding the most valuable projects and the most active of the teenagers involved in these projects.

„I feel fulfillment when I see a packed house, knowing what it was ten years ago, it was not easy, but because you have chosen to get involved alot has been acomplished. There’s a very high gain, which is the gain of experience. Beyond job creation, which means prosperity of a community, a challenge we face is the lack of human resources. Know that there are many companies and institutions that need a lot of work labor and can not find it. You who have chosen to get involved and gain experience, you will perhaps be peers in companies or organizations which today supports these projects” said Sorin Braşoveanu, then thanked the organizers and partners forming “this large family of volunteers”.
