Tuesday, 29.04.2014, at 12:00 PM Value Plus Association in partnership with the University of George Bacovia in Bacau held the personal development conference entitled “Steps to Effective Communication” supported by association president Marian Pădureţ.
At the conference attended 30 people which learned how we can communicate more effectively with those around.
Humans are social creatures that live surrounded by other people, so whether there is a desire for communication, either there isn’t, people communicate anyway.
As a summary we’ve learned the following:
- Any message you communicate is only information if it does not have a purpose
- You must take into consideration that your receiver (to which you communicate) understands the words as you do
- When you want to make sure that someone understood you ask the following question: ” Tell me what you understood! “
- For effective communication must harmonise your verbal communication with the non-verbal communication
- You should be aware that verbal language has certain limitations. You can’t communicate the details of a photo only by the verbal communication
- Written communication eliminates the possibility of transmitting feelings, so it becomes only information
Our hope is that this conference will remain a positive experience that will improve your relationships with others along your life.
