Letter to Santa Claus
Nedelcu Andrei Jordan is a 11 year old boy from Podu Turului, Bacau, who sent a letter last winter to Santa Claus with the simple desire to have a house to live in safety, because at the moment the house where he and his family of 4 people lived was in very bad shape that it almost collapsed on them. His father died two years ago after a prolonged suffering and now he lives with his mother and the two brothers.
Thus this case has touched us, we went to see the detailed situation that Andrei faces. After a short evaluation we have seen the hard living conditions, without heat or electricity, we’ve decided to take some action and fight with everything we have and the community’s help to try to build a social house where he and his family can live safely starting with this winter.
So we’ve spoken with the mayor of Podu Turului and we’ve managed to get a free space for construction of the house, but now all that remains is to rise money for a simple wooden building.

Responding to this need by accepting the challenge: “Andrew’s House”
If you are up for the challenge do the following:
I. Call your friends
1) Call your friends, tell them briefly that you need their help to meet the challenge and ask them to have with them 10 spare dollars.
2) Then arrange a meeting with them, anywhere you want. You are now ready to go the next step.
II.Explain, collect and take a picture
3) Now that I have you met your friends, explain them briefly about the Andrew’s house and persuade them to donate $10.
4) Take a group photo with all those who have agreed to make a donation to Andrew’s house, picture through which to express your solidarity for this need. For example you can you use your bodies to create a house. Be creative!
III. Make the donation
Value Plus Association took responsibility to gather and build the Andrew’s house, so we opened a special account for this cause.

IV. Share your photo on Facebook and challenge your friends
6) When posting on Facebook make sure you do the following:
a) tag your friends who donated
b) challenge them to take this challenge. Don’t forget to give them these steps.
c) hashtag the post with #AndrewsHouse. You can do this by writing in the description #AndrewsHouse
d) write the name of the depositor who made the donation so we can confirm ia Facebook.
Why us?
Because we already built a social house called Gheorghita’s House. This is our proof that we can handle this project. More details can be accessed through Staniesti Mayor who officially gave the house on July 17 2015.
