Project Description
On Friday 26th of July, “Value Plus” team and “Down Syndrome Association Bacău” gathered their forces and spent a wonderful day. Physical activities and eating healthy had been the main activity’s that took place.
The meeting started at 10:00 and ended to 15:30, during which we did karate, played group games on the sports field, wallowed in the pool, ate together and finished by gathering in a big group circle where we exchanged ideas, encouragements and also prayed.
The “Down Syndrome Association Bacău” project is called “Nutrition And Health Education” is financed by The European Commission through “Youth In Action” program (1.2 Youth initiatives) a project which will develop within the local community in Bacău for 7 months, and which will bring in the community’s attention the theme of promoting a healthy lifestyle among the young people.
