Celebrating National Fathers Day

Sunday, 13th of May 2018, between 15:00 – 19:00 Value Plus Association invites all the fathers with their kids to play.

According to the law adopted by the Government in 2009, our country celebrates Father’s Day on the second Sunday of May.

Value Plus Association supports and promotes the necessity of paternal presence in the healthy development of a child. It is not enough just to be the father, but it is imperative for him to come and engage in an active way in all that involves the relationship with children and their upbringing and education. The Father is a crucial character that affects child development, either by implication or by disengagement.

The purpose of the event on the occasion of Father’s Day is to increase awareness about the responsibilities of a father and its impact on growth, development and harmonious formation of his children.

No entry fee will be charged, nor for activities organized during the event.

Event objectives:
• Awareness of the public about the importance of Father’s Day in Romania;
• Motivate fathers to take a more active role in raising their children;
• Motivate mothers and children to express their appreciation to fathers;
• Involving dads with their children in fun and creative activities;
• Create a community of “ambassadors” who will promote the role of fathers in family and society.

The values promoted by this event are:
• Family as defined by God a man and a woman with their children;
• Parental responsibility for childcare in all areas;
• Time spent in cooperative activities (fathers and children together);
• meaningful dialogue between a father and child.

Target group:
• Dads and their children

Activities:
• Gymnastics and outdoor dance music
• Contests running obstacle between teams of kids with their dads
• Face painting
• Photo booth – funny dad
• Other surprise activities

The event rules*

1. Activities at the event Hello! Father! It’s Your Day are offered to the public free of charge and are open to anyone, regardless of ethnicity, religion or social affiliation.
2. Children will be under the responsibility of the parents or caregivers of activities undertaken throughout the event. The organizers will not be held responsible for the behavior of participants in the activities.
3. Participants will follow the organizers instructions for each activity. Those who do not follow instructions will be asked to leave work.
4. The first participants arrive at an activity will take precedence for participation, others will turn to wait. If necessary, will be used tickets with serial numbers.
5. Participants will not destroy or damage the equipment used in the activities offered.
6. Participants will treat volunteers involved in the event Hello! Father! It’s your day! with respect and courtesy.
7. Participants will demonstrate respect for the Cacicov Park, throwing garbage responsibly and respecting the park rules.
8. Representatives organizers will take pictures during the event. Those who do not wish to receive photos are asked to express this photographers who will respect their wish.
9. Entrants who do not comply with this regulation will be asked to leave the event activities Hello! Father! It’s your day!
