Humanitarian transport for Izium city, Ukraine

“The city of Izium (approx. 1,200 km from Bacau) was liberated by Ukrainian forces on September 11 after more than 6 months of occupation by the Russian army. Over 90% of the city’s buildings are destroyed and of the 50,000 inhabitants that the city had before the invasion, about 10,000 remained, the rest fled the war, some were deported by the Russian army and others lost their life. A cemetery with mass graves and over 430 corpses, many of them with signs of torture, was discovered in Izium.

On October 23, Asociația Valoare Plus, upon the request for help received from the churches in Izium, will organize a humanitarian transport for people in need in the city of Izium. The shipment will contain 350 packages of food, hygiene products, medicine and winter footwear. I know we are all preparing for a tough winter, but I challenge you to contribute with a package of food or a pair of winter shoes for some people who have lost EVERYTHING, and while waiting for winter, they are living among the ruins”

The estimated cost of a food package is 100 lei/package and includes basic food and personal hygiene products. The estimated cost of a pair of winter shoes is 200 ron. Donations can be made online by card, or by bank transfer or directly at the headquarters of the Valoare Plus Association on 16 Orizontului str.
